The Cottages at Cedar Run - West Bend, WI

Part of Cedar Community, the nation's 86th largest not-for-profit continuum of care provider, which pioneered memory loss care in 1976 when they opened the first memory loss-specific care facility. Since then, we've honed the art and science of providing ideal settings for those facing Alzheimer's disease - and their families. In summer 2014, Cedar Community opened the Cottages at Cedar Run, a brand-new 60-apartment assisted living for memory loss. Tucked on a 160-acre setting adjacent to Ridge Run park in West Bend, Wis., the Cottages feature charming 'front porch' designs to promote residents' familiarity and sense of home, loads of windows and natural views. Our long-admired memory care program, named an Alzheimer's Foundation of America Excellence in Care Dementia Program of Distinction, has been replicated and improved upon in this bold new setting.
