Shalom Adult Family Home (AFH) offers residents’ care in an intimate environment. Shalom AFH is a beautifully furnished single-family home located in quiet, beautiful Edmonds in the Picnic Point area. We are Licensed to provide care for 5 people. We provide personal and professional care in a home like setting.

We offer care alternative in a home much like yours. Unlike assisted living facilities and nursing homes, Shalom AFH represents a care giving setup that allows residents to maintain their dignity and respect in a home like setting. Above all, Shalom AFH gives you the peace of mind that comes with knowing your loved one is getting the exceptional care and dignity they deserve.

Meet the Provider:
I grew up in a large, extended family that included gradparents and elderly relatives. As far back as I can rememer, me and my sibilings helped our parents care for our aging grandparents. It is here that I learned to love and enjoy the company of the elderly. It is engrained in my culture and is part of my religion to care for and respect my elders.

Since moving to America, I have worked in various care giving positions including Assisted Living facilities, home care setting, and hospitals. Time and again, people around me including co-workers, employers and clients tell me they can see the passion in my care. I find care giving very rewarding and look forward to providing your loved one the Care, Respect and Dignity they deserve.
