About Home Helpers - Homer Glen, IL
Who we are: We are your Home Helpers team. We are a family operated business and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are fully licensed by the State of Illinois, and the Illinois Department of Public Health. We are correctly insured with comprehensive liability and workers compensation insurance. Our caregivers are bonded and have had complete criminal background checks, including the National Sex Offender Registry and the Illinois State Police. Our caregivers receive extensive training and continuing education. We are also trained in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care; as well as capable in helping families through the hospice process, if necessary.
What we do: We provide care to those in need. Our care plans are tailored to you.
When we are available: We are available for 1 hour to 24 hour live in service, and everywhere in between. We have no minimum or maximum number of hours. Our hours are ALWAYS flexible, and we are more than willing to work to accommodate family needs. You never have to worry about changing your schedule; we will be there for you! We can also provide a 24 hour emergency response system, for extra security and peace of mind.
Where we work: We can work in your personal home, nursing home, rehabilitation center, retirement community, or hospital.
How we help you: We will provide to you, a caring and compassionate caregiver who is ready assist in all your needs. They are all trained in a range of care-giving facets, truly care about their job. All our caregivers have their own car, and speak English very well.
Why we do what we do: Our own family has dealt with long-term, disabling diseases and found we were unable to manage all of the specific needs that our family members had. It was just as difficult finding the right care givers to relieve some pressure off of us. That led us to Home Helpers. We felt it was our destiny to open a location and show families it does not have to be as upsetting for them
