Golden Age Foster Home is located on 86th Avenue in the bustling city of Portland, Oregon. Residents at our facility can easily get away from the busy city at Raleigh Park and Swim Center, West Sylvan Park, or Reservoir Park with transportation we provide for a small fee. For our more active residents, Golden Age Foster Home is nearby shopping centers, museums, and fitness centers. We pride ourselves on the ideal location for a senior care facility. When it comes to safety, we take things very seriously at Golden Age Foster Home as we provide a 24 hour awake staff as well as full-time nurses on-site. We also have visiting nurses, speech therapists, podiatrists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists as needed to suit the needs of our individual residents. All facilities are equipped for safety, too, with wheelchair accessible ramps, showers, and private bedrooms and bathrooms for our residents. The meals that we provide at our assisted living group home are cooked with love. We offer three meals every day along with snacks as needed and follow all doctor recommendations in terms of diets including low sugar, diabetic, and low salt. Our chefs also take into consideration the personal preferences of our clients and prepare vegetarian meals as requested. We are proud of the individual attention and love that we offer your loved ones every day at Golden Age. Since we believe it is important to also offer recreational and social activities for our residents, we make a point to make everything available. Both indoor and outdoor common areas are provided along with onsite and offsite activities to keep our residents entertained and fulfilled. We also have beautician services for our residents along with both a pool and hot tub for relaxation, exercise, and socialization. Finally, devotional services are offered offsite.
